The role, at Total Choice Shipping & Printing in Grinnell, requires outstanding customer service skills and a willingness to work hard in a fast paced environment; Graphic design/print production background is desired.  A sense of humor is mandatory!

The successful candidate must be well organized, professional and customer service oriented in this part time position.

This position is to ensure an extraordinary customer experience by providing efficient and effective service to meet and exceed expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 
·      Smile. Greet customers and determine how to exceed their expectation.
·      Receive and process packages for courier shipping, including lifting and weighing packages on scale, accessing Manifesting software, generating labels and retrieving packages from customer vehicle when requested.
·      Pack contents for shipping using established procedures and products.
·      Receive, sort and place mail in mailbox modules accurately.
·      Record all sales transactions on cash register and accurately process cash, check, money orders and credit card transactions.
·      Operate CMS, POS, Microsoft Office, Mac OS, Acrobat and all other software packages.
·      Write documents for traces and shipping claims.  Send and receive fax transactions.
·      Operate copiers, fax machine, binding equipment and all other office machines in a safe, efficient and productive manner.
·      Help in production of customer print jobs, graphic design, placing orders for supplies and assisting customers with self-service copies.
·      Assist with the range of services for customers as required to provide total customer satisfaction.
·      Assist in merchandising the center, including: stocking shelves with product, ensuring a clean and orderly appearance of product, informing appropriate personnel of inventory levels for re-ordering supplies, being informed of product specifics (i.e. pricing etc)
·      Close out of register to include: reconciliation of cash, checks, credit cards, and all other transactions accurately and in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
·      General housekeeping duties.
